The company’s ability to heat and cool materials at specific rates and within tight tolerances enables it to consistently deliver exceptional quality for customers in a wide range of industries.
“In addition to our ability to meet demanding turnaround times, the manner in which we conduct business is our true differentiator,” Kemen said. “Our values focus on integrity, service, relationships and high-performance accountability.”
A History of Heat Treatment Excellence
Metals Engineering was founded in 1967 and purchased in 2001 by Tom Kemen. Significant investment into equipment and personnel set the company on a growth track that continued under Ted Kemen, who bought the company from his father in 2005.
The addition of new technology and additional equipment following the 2014 acquisition of Omega Metal Treating boosted the efficiency and capabilities of Metals Engineering’s De Pere facility.
